Jason Costa
Managing Partner
Jason Costa is the founder of The Costa Group. He advises law firms on marketing strategy, brand development, and media relations, drawing on more than 25 years of experience including leadership roles at DLA Piper, Shearman & Sterling, and Hogan Lovells. He holds a degree from NYU Stern School of Business.
Justin Fortanascio
Head of Operations
Justin Fortanascio leads operations at The Costa Group and advises law firms on legal directory strategy. Since 2014, he has guided clients through Chambers, Legal 500, and other rankings, with particular expertise in referee selection and submission strategy. He holds a BA in History from Fordham University.
Tom Wicker
Senior Consultant
Tom Wicker is a senior consultant with nearly two decades of experience in legal directory strategy. A former Editor of Chambers USA, he now advises law firms on submissions, research positioning, and interview preparation. Tom holds a First Class honours degree from Oxford and an MPhil from Cambridge.
Lisa Kurth
Consultant
Lisa Kurth is a consultant with more than 15 years of experience leading legal directory programs at top firms. She previously managed directories for DLA Piper and Vedder Price, overseeing hundreds of submissions and developing firmwide training programs. Lisa graduated Magna Cum Laude from Elmhurst University.
